I think that asking people to be straight with you is forcing them to look who they are. I've often heard people say, "Why me?" When the real question is, "Why not me?" It's a tough one really, but while it may seem like it from time to time, the universe isn't really picking on us, it's just the way it goes. As for being truthful, I have to beg the same question. "Why can't you just be straight with me?" Not that it's much consolation, but it's not just you. Seems we're all asking the same question, "Why me?" Who knows, perhaps some day we might actually get an answer. I'm not holding my breath however. Attitude… it certainly is.
