In about a month’s time I’m about to launch my dream into reality! Greggie and myself have watched a simple idea of a children’s story give itself life and grow into an interactive website for children and their guardians.

Today was all about that dream, that might be a reality, but it will always be my dream.
We met with recording studios for there songs and voice overs. I’m writing content. Greggie’s organising studio time. We are breathing life into it with every step we take.

Obviously nerves are the flavour of the day and I’m blessed with the business partner I chose. We have this fabulous way of de-stressing each other by pushing each other’s buttons.
Push, push, prod, poke … it’s better than any little blue pill. But then again I wouldn’t suggest you try it at home unless your self esteem can take the punches and you know each other well enough to read between the lines of niggling insults!

I am learning to write the content for the site with less planning and obsessiveness over every moment, so things that usually took a day, took me about 20 minutes today! I’m so thrilled that I learned to clap my hands like a seal and shout ‘woo hoo’ .. it kind of says it all.

Don’t you hate being asked to come up with a budget you would like to pay a service provider and no matter how you research, it’s about 3 times less than they expected you to put on the table? Hmmmm … I’m so thrilled that we choose who to collaborate with on pure energy and ‘gut’, because Greggie is teaching me that the money then becomes irrelevant-ish! We had that very moment with Imagineer, who is an absolute gem and one of the most passionate Souls I know.
So, even though we had to digest a whole lot more than we expected in our meeting, the disgusting peanut butter and oats smoothie will forever live in my memory as far worse a concept to swallow. Sometimes I so over expect! Take it from … it’s gross!

Impromptu meeting over gross drinks turned to dinner and that is when I watched the dynamic between Greggie and myself! Everything in life can be seen in two ways. So, either we make the perfect team or we are the oddest combination in the world.

Imagineer gave me so much to think about and in some ways I’m trying not to let the conversation about marketing and Pr’ing freak me out! Bringing to the forefront of my mind a big lesson for project me …

I have a deadline for when the studio is booked and I have to have all the content off to a very cute little girl who needs to know her lines. In between we have a special friend out from overseas and I have the end of my partnership with Baba drawing closer.
I have to sleep, eat and get myself back into gym.
I am a confessed workaholic and I have friends who now know that I cannot get into that space.

I have to watch myself very closely!
Already, tonight, I have this idea in my head that I am going to finish blogging now and do just a touch of work. Hmmm … is one burst of burning the midnight oil considered falling off the rails?
