That song still holds a special place in my heart, now that I know what it means. As for men being hung up on hair colour, I think a lot of it is pulling at straws in the hope that changing what they are looking for (or sticking to what they are looking for) will lay the issue on onto the other person and they won't have to look at themselves. After all ... we know that looks are merely the illusion! You make my day everyday my friend ... It took me a while to catch onto what Meatloaf was saying when he said “I won’t do that …”, but then again, I was too young to appreciate lyrics like I do today! As for men being hung up on hair colour, I think a lot of it is pulling at straws in the hope that changing what they are looking for (or sticking to what they are looking for) will lay the issue on onto the other person and they won’t have to look at themselves.

But when it's obvious that that is all you are doing, it's time to rethink the scenario. When it comes to hair (on one's head ;) ) more is definitely more. I remember the day I read that message. It was a friend of mine's status and I felt all the world's problems lift. I spend a lot of time trying to work out what I said or did that makes someone vanish from my life or not follow through on their promises ... now I just let it go and only worry about me and my own issues. The saga continues with more 'pie in sky' conversations and then I am reminded (by u of course) that I can't win 'em all. One out of two months of chatting would be superb though ... lol!!! I think I need to apply that to some of the bravado of late and then I might not get so frustrated. Why are some men attracted to blondes and others redheads? As obvious as physical differences and preferences are, so are personality traits. You can't win 'em all...
